Come to the warm, vibrant RAAC Community Theatre in Little Washington and see outstanding plays.
Last year we laughed through the Odd Couple, lifted our Holiday spirits with the 12 Days of Christmas, and recently finished a run of Tom Stoppard’s award-winning play Arcadia. The RAAC Theatre group is an energized mix of actors, directors, artists, and technical experts each bringing their own special talents that make our productions beautifully staged and most of all, highly entertaining.
In addition to our stage productions, each fall there’s a storytelling event, No Ordinary Person, where people from the community tell amazing stories from their past. Coached through the year in the art of storytelling, these individuals always draw sell-out crowds.
You can view the recent No Ordinary Person by clicking this link: No Ordinary Person 2018.
Our group holds workshops, and even camps for kids, so those interested can learn about acting, directing, lighting, sound, set design, and make-up.
If any aspect of the performing arts intrigues you, here’s your chance to become involved. Come join us to help create or produce a new play. We are always seeking community members who would like to try their hand at acting, directing, designing sets or working on sound or lighting. Being part of the production crew is rewarding and it is not necessary to have experience or make a long-term commitment. Most of us started here as beginners and had so much fun, we never left!
