Come to the warm, vibrant RAAC Community Theatre in Little Washington and see outstanding plays.
The RAAC Theatre group is an energized mix of actors, directors, artists, and technical experts each bringing their own special talents that make our productions beautifully staged and most of all, highly entertaining.
In addition to our stage productions, each fall there’s a storytelling event, No Ordinary Person, where people from the community tell personal stories that range from the heartfelt to the hilarious. Coached through the year in the art of storytelling, these individuals always draw sell-out crowds. Click here for more information on No Ordinary Person.
Our group periodically hosts workshops, improv sessions and even camps for kids, so those interested can learn about acting, directing, lighting, sound, set design, and make-up.
If any aspect of the performing arts intrigues you, here’s your chance to become involved. Come join us to help create or produce a new play. We are always seeking community members who would like to try their hand at acting, directing, designing sets or working on sound or lighting. Being part of the production crew is rewarding and it is not necessary to have experience or make a long-term commitment. Most of us started here as beginners and had so much fun, we never left!
